Wind River Range

The Wind River Range is a wilderness like no other that I’ve experienced. Towering granite peaks and glacial basins characterize this remarkable landscape. On my first visit to the range, in September of 2024, I was treated to excellent weather, stunning stars, and summit vistas. This trip was a true wilderness excursion. At moments, it felt like my trip partner and I were the only ones in the world. Looking back on the photos I made on this trip I believe they properly convey the feelings of grandeur I experienced standing at the base and on the summits of these wild mountains.
